Farewell to College Hill: South Beach. .

&& the final episode ended on a great note AFTER the fight. .which seemed a little staged in my eyes because you know the cast KNOWS they can't fight already. .but for some strange reason, in the farewell episode, Chris just can't take it anymore ?  He kept his cool for the whole time. .but instead of changing his seat, he bangs it out with Brandon. .I mean, personally, I would have done the same but the. . .{ok I'm done talking about that "scripted fight"}. .Besides that && Milan acting like a 4 year old child over the phone, ish seemed to go really well. .they had a decent outing && dinner, in which, OMG, here comes Chris again !  No surprise to me @ all that he returned for the dinner, but c'mon BET, don't make it soooo obvious. .Tiffany was her same old self, quiet && staying to herself and her boo. .Kay is my fave of the housemates && she def kept it real this night. .Kyle said to her "I'm sorry for treating you like that on the RV" {or whatever he said. .something like that} with minimal sincerity in his voice {you know that Kyle. .sheesh} && she spit right back @ him "I'm not sorry I ate your ribs though" which definitely gave some humor to this bittersweet departure as everyone had a good laugh from it. .Everything ended though on a good note with Chris and Brandon giving each other a pound {don't mean ish} but you know . && I enjoyed this hour-long episode for sure. .

Now my next question is: what the heck am I gonna watch on Tuesdays now ?  Riddle me that. .

MTV = Reality Television now. .

ok so MTV is not cutting it for me at all. .I do NOT have to mention what MTV stands for {but since I want to. .YOU LISTEN} MUSIC TELEVISION ! But I suppose if you wanna call it music television, they deserve that title from about 6 in the morning until about 8 or 9 in the morning. .after that it's pretty much reality tv && nothing else. .it's really starting to get to me now. .they just need to revamp that whole entire station, kinda like the WB11 did && now they're the CW. .not that that matters because they didn't change from music to reality tv shows. .that's a big effin jump and a very inconsiderate one if I might add ! Who cares about "True Life: I Hate My Large Breast". .&& I mean that's just the tip of the iceberg, the topics get ridiculous-er. .I'm pretty sure that the station has lost ratings over this && they should ! {Please remember people that these are my own formulated opinions that I like sharing with you all but I'M RIGHT}. .Sigh. .Well I too have fell victim to watching these MTV reality shows but that doesn't mean that i'd rather have it this way. .I guess it's just the rantings of a bitter, MUSIC TELEVISION LOVING chick. .Ook you don't like it ? Music Monday

I can remember being in JHS when this song came out. .&& I still remember how it made me feel. .EVERYTIME it came on I grabbed my nearest "microphone" which was anything within arms reach && singing as loud as possible ! {now the fact that I can't sing has nothing to do with this} but it's good music. .Dru Hill has always made good songs && most of them sing directly to my soul. OMG. .I recently was with a friend of mine walking in the mall. Mind you, I was not there to purchase anything, but rather to accompany my friend as he went to see a friend. Anyway, as a female, I'm sure the ladies understand how tempting it is to walk past Forever 21 {a few more steps} then H&M {a few more steps} then Charlotte Russe. .you get where I'm going with this ! So we're walking, talking, laughing, && i start telling him abo. . . . .SHOES!!!SHOES!!! My whole train of thought was interrupted by Aldo && their summer collection of multicolor shoes. .Awww man, when I tell you that my eyes watered, my legs buckled, && I couldn't move, believe me ! I did not want to walk away from them && I guess he noticed because very nonchalantly he said "Just get them". .All of this happened before I stepped foot in the store, my eyes "zeroed in" on these stunners and I fell in LOVE :-*

Charlemagne Goes In on Cassie. .

Poor Cassie. .

She had definitely been catching an awful lot of heat in like the past month or two. I think it's safe to say she's not the most sought after female talent in the biz; she has been referenced with not being able to sing, her fling she got going with *cough* Diddy, just recently had naked flicks released to the media, and now this. .this loser dude has been linked to radio personality, Wendy Williams && his weird sense of humor and wit has landed Charlemagne Da God his own radio airtime to get on folks nerves. His most recent victim was obviously Cassie. I can't lie, she's really an easy target && she should have known what she was getting into going on his show. Personally I don't like him @ all, but he holds no punches ! In not so many words, he has stated that she has no talent {which wasn't a secret ANYWAY, but c'mon, be nice}. .I have posted the link to hear the clip, which is a bit long, but definitely worth listening to .



Oh && by the way, whomever prepped Cassie for this interview, needs to jump off a cliff ! She can't even do RADIO ? What does this chick do ? Americas Most Wanted: Vending Machine edition

Now call me crazy, but am I the onliest person that thinks the vending machines of America are corrupt ? I think they all have a predetermined amount, set by the owner, to take from us. .example: I snapped this pic yesterday right after the vending machine stole my dollar. .&& forget about calling the number on the side of the machine. .FOR A DOLLAR !? No. So what do normal people do after they've stood at the vending machine for approximately 3-5 minutes, making a selection they are comfy with {which by the way is harder than it seems}, only to have the machine of the month take it from you ? Well if you're like me, first off, you're pissed, hungry, and pressing the "money back" button repeatedly like a mad-man. .So we do the only thing a pissed off person does {actually it's 1 of 2 things}: you shake the life outta it, which usually doesn't work, or you reach in your pocket, very slowly and hesitant, and YOU WHIP OUT ANOTHER DOLLAR !

Drink of the Week. .

&& when I find a new drink, I tell no one. .specially when it's a cheap buzz. So my girl, Kat, told me about a drink that kinda tastes like purple kool-aid {yes purple, don't judge me} with liquor in it, obviously. Once she told me that, I rushed to my nearest bar && ordered one. Babyyy, let me be the first to tell you that @ $6.50, even if it were disgusting, that's my new ish. .depending on who makes the drink, it does taste like purple kool-aid {yes purple, don't judge me} ! Ultimately, the drink is a Long Island Iced Tea made with blue curacao && razz matazz *hope I spelled that right*. .Well this is NOT "Do you think you can spell" so I'm over it !

R.i.P to Myspace :(.....

Ook if there was any speculation as to whether Myspace's reign is over..IT IS !! There has been several blog posts && even heard it straight from the horses mouth (in this case the horses are the millions of people who have now converted to facebook and more recently; twitter). The funny thing is that people still check their myspace, I am guilty of this, even though I also say it's dead. I still check my friend requests, messages, and occasionally flip through the pages, but I DEFINITELY do not request friends, send messages, or comment on profiles && pics because it's pretty pointless. Myspace is no longer user friendly; it actually seems that they are beginning to emulate Facebook. They have the chat thingy now, little games and ish that I choose not to play. Well long story short friends, you will no longer catch me on Myspace just in my leisure time. No way, Jose ! && on that note:

Childhood Innocence

So that night, we decided to make Rice Krispy Treats. .{even though we had a whole box that she won't eat} oh by the way, that's my daughter Imani. She's 3 && the world is her playground, or atleast the world inside our house, because that's as far as she can go. .anyway {control your ADD Riyya} so that night, yadda yadda yadda && this child ate the melted marshmellow. .now she looked like something out of a Jason movie but I love my little monster. .I had to write about this after I came across this picture ! Makes you wanna break that diet and scarf it down {even though she doesn't make it look too appetizing, spread out like roadkill. Let me be the first to tell you, it was THE BUSINESS !!

Twitter ish. .

Mann, my daily routine has become upstaged by twitter. I know a lot of you don't "do" twitter mostly because you don't understand just wtf it is. Twitter for me is basically a small peek into my life in a series of short, 140 word limit status updates. Wayy better than facebook and myspace because I hardly EVER go on there to update status' and pictures or whatever else.

Whenever and wherever a twitter moment comes up, I'm tweeting ! It's starting to get pretty unruly but hey, that's exactly what it was designed to do ! (SIGH) It's kinda like another world that tweeters fall into and hard to leave..
